Pastor & Staff

Pastor Robert has lived and served in churches throughout the country. He grew up in Michigan and Oregon. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Youth Ministry from Bushnell University in Eugene, Oregon and earned a Master of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, IN. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Leadership from the University of Notre Dame.  

Robert married his wife, Nichole, in November 2022. He has two children, Elena and Benjamin. Nichole has two children, Jacob and Myla. In October 2024, Robert & Nichole welcomed their son, Isaiah Zechariah into their family.  

Robert began ministry as a youth pastor and since his ordination in the Christian Church Disciples of Christ in 2000, pastored churches in Shelbyville, Indiana, Middle Tennessee, Memphis, Tennessee, Amarillo, Texas, and two churches in Berks county. Robert possesses a passion for preaching, teaching the Bible, growing churches and maturing Christians through discipleship.

Matt came to Good Shepherd in 2003. While his number one passion is playing the organ, he also enjoys the piano and has a background in percussion. At Good Shepherd, he currently leads the Adult, Youth, Cherub, and Handbell Choirs. In the community, you might see him manning the front desk at the Boyertown YMCA or pitching for the church softball team. Outside the church, Matt’s interests include trains and sports, especially as a lifelong fan of the Phillies. 

Lori has 20 years’ experience in office management and bookkeeping spanning over engineering, non-profits, accounting and manufacturing industries. She is married to her husband Edward for 23 years and they share 4 children; Coral, Patrick, Adam and Kai. They also have 4 grandchildren. They reside in Pottstown along with their furry friends; Hershey, Bourbon, Whiskey and Jinx along with a turtle named Gizmo. In her free time she is a devoted mom, wife and Gigi, and she loves spending her time with her family. Lori is an avid reader, animal lover and she has pen pals all over the world. She spends a lot of time attending local race tracks to watch her sons and grandchildren race go carts and sling shots 

Pam has been a member of Good Shepherd since 1990 and an Office Secretary since 1998. Pam and her husband, Bill, live in Pike Township where they spend their time hosting family gatherings & share their love of gardening. They enjoy traveling around the country & going on day trips. They have 3 grown children and a granddaughter. Pam loves her job at the church and helping the congregation whenever she can. Since attending the church, she has been active in Women events, dinners, book clubs, fundraising, breakfasts, retreats and Bible studies.

Alyssa has been a lifelong member of Good Shepherd and has been actively volunteering at the church for most of her life. She lives in Boyertown with her parents and older brother. She is employed full-time as an Inspector in the Quality Assurance Department for an aerospace engineering company in Limerick, PA. In her spare time her hobbies include spending time with her boyfriend, family and friends, going to dirt track racing events, attending concerts, going to the beach and shopping.
