Who can be baptized?

Anyone from an infant to an adult

Do I need to be a member of Good Shepherd?

Not necessarily. Although baptism is in part a promise to grow in the life of faith. We feel this is best accomplished by regularly being part of a worshipping community.

When do baptisms happen?

Baptisms happen during our 9:30 am service on Sunday Mornings. Generally almost any Sunday during the year works for us.

Who does the baptism?

Our pastor does the actual baptism service.

Is there a fee?

There is no fee for baptisms

What happens during the baptism?

Both you and the community make promises before God to commit yourselves and/or your child to live into the Christian faith and then you get a little wet. Also, we will provide you an outline of the service and discuss your parts with you when you contact us.

Do I need Godparents for my child?

No, you are not required to have Godparents, but if you select them we will include them in the service.

Who do I contact to arrange a baptism?
