Music plays an integral role in worship at Good Shepherd. Encompassing a diverse variety of styles, you may hear classical, traditional, Gospel, praise songs, modern contemporary, etc. Whether organ, piano, instrumental, or vocal, we make frequent use of our in-house talent, plus occasional guests. See below for descriptions of our current musical groups.

Senior Choir

Our most active ensemble sings most weeks, September-May. Rehearsals are a casual atmosphere of committed individuals praising the Lord through devotions, prayer, and of course, singing! New singers of all abilities are welcome. Senior Choir meets on Wednesdays at 7:00pm for grade 9 & older.

Youth Choir

Grade 4 & up; sings every 4-6 weeks, October-June. Rehearsals are Sundays in the Choir Room after worship every two weeks.

Cherub Choir

Preschool & older; sings every 4-6 weeks, October-June. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings 9-9:15am in Room 3.

Handbell Choir

For grade 7 & older, plays occasionally, rehearsing as needed on Monday evenings. No experience is required, just a willingness to learn and have fun. Singers and Instrumentalists are a wonderful addition to worship services anytime, especially during the summer choir hiatus. All ages are welcome to share their talents with us.

All groups are directed by Matthew Wary, Minister of Music. Speak to Matt for more information on above groups, or if you have other ideas!
